CLASSIC AND CONTEMPORARY TILES
Ceramiche Refin tiles play centre stage in the 360º Apartment project, by Brazilian architect Diego Revollo. For the renovation of the 130m² apartment, located in Alto da Lapa, the architect combined the best of Brazilian design with European influences, using panels of American Walnut and Cumaru wood, juxtaposed against a soft grey palette, sculptural furniture and transparent lighting elements. The entire design was set against a bold backdrop of a fully clad kitchen zone where the tiles are used 360°, injecting personality into the space. The result is a comfortable modern apartment, which takes advantage of the use of the classic tiles in a surprisingly contemporary way.
The Frame Collection, designed by Studio FM Milano and used in the decoration of this apartment, received the prestigious European Design Award.
