UNGENDERED AND MINIMAL ACCESSORIES
scar-id presents, with ATER, exclusive and limited pieces, of author’s design. The first collection, which will premiere on the 17th of March on the scar-id store, has four models of leather accessories, in matte black. Even because ATER is Latin for black (matte).
André Ramos and Sílvia Pinto Costa, the creative designers of scar-id, betted on a minimal and ungendered style. The four designed pieces are: IDATER 71, a hand and shoulder bag; IDATER 21, “a visual and functional cleansing [version] of IDATER 71”; IDATER 11, a backpack with a single zipper; and IDATER 20, a functional bag “perfect for the routine of whom needs to move around the city quickly”.
All pieces, which will be available both online and in store, are made in a factory in Porto’s outskirts, through a “manual and individualized” process. Besides the premiere, ATER by scar-id will display its accessories on Portugal Fashion’s main passerelle, by invitation of the Portuguese creative Carla Pontes.
