PRECISION AND DECONSTRUCTION
The motivation of the Brazilian designer Pedro Paulo Venzon for the creation of the Avoa chair was to explore the concept of autotelic, which determines the autonomy of the design. The idea of the designer was design an object that retook the minimum elements that form a chair: small seat, economical design, and delicate balance.
In a game of precision and deconstruction, and contrary to what would be expected, the Avoa chair is completely different from a classic chair, both in the design and in the material, or even in the supposed absolute comfort.
Avoa was awarded in the Restaurant & Bar Product Design Awards 2016 and finalist in the Salão Design 2015.
