FEAST FOR THE SENSES

 

 

Created in 2007, Cooking Lab benefits from the experience of a group of scientists, who, since 2000, had been involved in Ciência Viva’s “The Kitchen is a Laboratory” project, the main aim of which was investigating what happens scientifically to ingredients when prepared and what changes occur to foods throughout the cooking process.
Chefs and food industry companies showed an interest in this field of knowledge, requesting training and specialist consultancy services. Cooking Lab thus came into being, an innovative contemporary cooking company working on several levels: training in new cooking techniques; research and development of new products and recipes; staging events; and an online store selling ingredients, utensils and equipment.
