With the aim of removing any possible health risks and to make wearing jeans more comfortable, Miguel Carvalho, professor of textile engineering at the University of the Minho, in conjunction with Elazer Edelman, professor and doctor at MIT, has developed some jeans, which reduce tightness by up to 90% and minimise the localised concentration of temperature and pressure. Designed to, in the words of Miguel Carvalho, “adapt perfectly to the characteristics of each body”, the FYT Jeans, thanks to cutting edge technology and research, suit the dynamism of active lifestyles, improving comfort and serving a world in movement.
