Garden Void House

Architecture | 12 Ago 2016

LIVING THE SURROUNDINGS

Garden Void House is a two-story house, crafted with natural and refined materials, characterized by the contrast between large and very narrow windows, which offer to the residents a breathtaking view while maintaining their privacy. Located in North York, a traditional neighborhood of Toronto, the house occupies a corner lot that enjoys natural light during all seasons.
Designed by the architect Alva Roy, the Garden Void House  was built to marry the architectural design with the functionality requirements outlined by client. The result is a modern house, which favors the indoor-outdoor relationship and the contact with the surrounding space.
