AN AUTHENTIC EXPERIENCE

 

In the Khmer language, the official language of Cambodia, Phum Baitang means green town. But Phum Baitang is much more than this. Just outside Angkor, UNESCO World Heritage Site, Phum Baitang is a resort that promises total immersion in the essence of the country. Part of the Zannier Hotels chain, the brand of a family that shares a passion for the art of hospitality and for gastronomy and which strives to create an alternative luxury experience in an increasingly similar industry.
Surrounded by lush vegetation and by swathes of rice fields, close to Siem Reap, in rural Cambodia, the resort features 45 villas perched on wooden structures. In using traditional construction techniques, the AW2 and Reda Amalou practices, responsible for the architectural design, strove to protect the residences from flooding. 25 villas have a private terrace and 20 have a private pool, as well as an area of exuberant garden.
