ZHA WINS THE COMPETITION
Zaha Hadid Architects (ZHA) has been awarded first prize in the competition to build the Urban Heritage Administration Centre in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia. The competition was started in 2015. The centre, head office of the Heritage Museum, is part of on-going works to preserve the historical region of Diriyah, UNESCO world heritage site. The Urban Heritage Administration Centre incorporates a permanent exhibition gallery, library, lecture hall, educational spaces for different age groups, and also a scientific institution.
