New Year. Where at?

New year is the moment when a new annual calendar is inaugurated. In practice, especially at midnight, the event calls for celebration to the height, be it more or less eccentric. Along with countless superstitions and so many rituals associated with the beginning of a new year, this is usually a festive season filled with desires and good places to ask for them in secret. We give you some Portuguese suggestions and the reasons why you will not want to stay at home.

Festive times are roughly associated with excesses. As to not follow this trend, The Prime Energize Hotel suggests that you enter the new year doing exercise and eating healthy. Thus, in Algarve, Prime Energize offers a new year program that extends for four days, full with renewed energy and under the maximum “healthy mind in a healthy body”.

In the Portuguese capital, the center of the celebrations is Terreiro do Paço. It is there that you can dine and closely watch the euphoria of New Year`s Eve. By the hand of chef Luís Gaspar, Casa Lisboa has created a menu of six moments for adults and a special menu for children, both very Portuguese options.
