Club Life Porto

"A place for everyone".

Club Life has opened in Porto about a month ago and is a brand new option to all those who seek healthy food. Guilherme and Maria, the owners, brought the brand from Brazil – where it was born – and, at Rua Mouzinho da Silveira, they launched a new concept which is all about a functional cuisine. 
Moreover, it is a healthy cuisine “made with natural ingredients”, as it is explained to us. A cuisine which does not use any processed or refined ingredients. There, the “team is trained to serve each dish with the right amount to be nutritious”: that’s the chef’s service.

From the kitchen headed by Marina Araújo, the dishes that arrive to the table are full of flavour, such as the smooth and rich carrot soup, the “espiritual” codfish (a recipe by Virgílio Gomes), with portuguese cabbage prepared the Brazilian way, or the chicken with brie cheese, mashed sweet potatoes and pumpkin seeds. And, of course, desserts. On the “board of temptation” there were a vegan chocolate mousse, the “tortinha de brigadeiro” (a Brazilian delicacy) and a brownie we cannot compare to any other else. 
On what concerns the drinks, at Club Life they have their own wine – from the Douro vineyards – and all the juices are natural and cold-pressed. 
It is “a place for everyone, without fundamentalism”.
