Country Blue

Blue with the smell of summer.

A few meters from the margins of River Sado, there is a retreat with plenty of warmth and cosiness to offer. Idealized by designer Lígia Casanova, the Country Blue project is in the heart of Alcácer do Sal and invites you to “slow down” the hectic pace of everyday life and enjoy moments of complete peacefulness.
Inside the loft, between the comfort of space and natural light, the view stretches out in soft tones of blue. It is a colour used with intention. It wishes to represent “the proximity to the beaches, and sea” and leave a scent of “summer”, as Lígia Casanova tells us.

The harmonious environment reflects an inside thought to be comfortable and very “clean”. The space is large and, more than that, practical. “It’s almost minimalist. There are only the necessary objects”, states the designer responsible for the project. The saying “less is more” is implicit and is applied in this case. The several ceiling lamps, the wooden table and the hanging swing chair are some of the high points. They have in common the purpose for which they were designed – to guarantee well-being.
