Summit House

An ode to creativity.

The Office Group (TOG), one of UK’s most creative and innovative hub, has a new workspace. Opened after a major transformation signed by architecture and interior design atelier Note Design Studio, Summit House now features a distinctly modern aesthetic. The building, constructed in 1925, is close to Holborn Underground Station, in the heart of Red Lion Square, London. The façade is breath-taking.

Inside, set across four stories, it offers a series of new spaces, including a green terrace, an open-plan ballroom transformed into an open-workspace, private offices, meeting rooms, events space and a recharge room. The building’s interior was completely refurbished by Note Design Studio, but the Art Deco elements of the original building were untouched, the tiled façade and the wooden carved entrance door. For interior design concept, the studio sought inspiration from Swedish Grace, a pre-functionalist style of Swedish modernism that appeared in the 1920s as a reaction to national romanticism, featuring simpler, austere forms.
