Ana Segurado

Style | 18 Jan 2018

The new collection by Ana Segurado, with exclusive pre-sale at Scar-id until January 31, is inspired by James Ball’s photographic work – “Guide to computing”, which shows us the evolution of design through “photographs of historic computers”. It is, above all, a collection that stands out by using exclusively “cruelty-free” and organic materials. More precisely, these pieces are made with ahimsa silk (which means no violence in Sanskrit) and organic cotton (that comes from Texas, USA).
Sustainability and slow-fashion are amongst Ana Segurado brand’s main characteristics, hence the production of exclusive collections. This collection – Spring/Summer 2018 – is based upon a “minimal and timeless” approach, where the “colours”, textures and contemporary finishes” are combined with “elaborated dimensional structures”.
