“Genuine”, “urban”, “daring” and “natural”. That is how the brand new ERVA, in Lisbon, defines itself. Neighbouring doors with Corinthia Hotel, here authentic food can be found, clearly inspired in the Portuguese cuisine and made with local ingredients. The kitchen headed by chef Carlos Gonçalves is at everyone’s glance: it is open space and promotes the transparency of “authentic and unassuming” food for which ERVA wants to be known for.
By the hands of chef dishes such as Grilled octopus whit somked pepper, eggplant caviar and grilled Portuguese cabbage, Cow from head to toe or Gratin eggplant with karashi sauce are prepared.
At ERVA, which besides a restaurant is also a cocktail bar, author cocktails inspired by the “classics and in the unique Lisbon visual palette” are served.
