IBERIAN FLAVOURS

 

There are many things in life that are best when shared. The moments around the table, where food and experiences are common, is unquestionably one of them. With this idea in mind, chef Henrique Sá Pessoa opened in Lisbon, in 2017, Tapisco, where Spanish tapas, Portuguese appetizers and vermouth are the central figures. At the moment, in partnership with Multifood group, Sá Pessoa transported the idea to the North of Portugal and established the restaurant on Rua Mouzinho da Silveira, in Porto. Settled on the ground floor of an old reconstructed building, the restaurant has sought inspiration from the traditional snack bars of the 50`s, where an elegant and relaxed atmosphere combine perfectly. On arrival, you are welcomed by an L-shaped counter with 9 of the restaurant`s 59 seats. The copper tones and the dark reds stand out. The space, with huge windows, brimming with light and opening to the city on one of the busiest streets of Porto. In the menu, written in Portuguese and Spanish, we find an irresistible variety of tapas and appetizers – preserving the restaurant`s DNA in Lisbon – which allow us to travel through the gastronomy of both countries.
