Contemporary. Urban. Timeless. So are the glasses of the Portuguese brand VAVA. The VAVA’s motto is to offer a high-quality product, relying on the experience, knowledge, and art of great craftsmen. As contemporary architecture is one of the brand`s greatest inspirations, VAVA now features a capsule collection designed by the Portuguese Pritzker Álvaro Siza Vieira - a series of limited edition and numbered glasses and one of continuous production. To celebrate this collaboration, VAVA invited photographer André Brito to create the photographic register "WHEN FASHION MEETS ARCHITECTURE" - a series of contemporary photography captured in Igreja de Santa Maria, Marco de Canavezes, in one of the most iconic projects of the architect.
After the success at the Venice Biennale, the collection signed by Siza Vieira will be launched in Portugal, in a presentation on September 15, at THE store in Porto, between 5 pm and 9 pm, with the architect’s attendance.
