THE LA LA LAND`S RECORD

 

In the 74th edition of the Golden Globe Awards, presented last night by Jimmy Falon at Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, La La Land - Love Melody got the greatest victory ever in the history of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association Awards. The musical by Damien Chaz, that has Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling in the lead roles, won all the prizes that had been named: Best Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy, Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy (Emma Stone), Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy (Ryan Gosling), Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Original Score and Best Original Song.
In the television categories, the big winner was The Night Manager, that received three awards: Best Performance by an Actor in a Limited Series or a Motion Picture Made for Television (Tom Hiddleston), Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Olivia Colman) and Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Hugh Laurie).
The evening was marked by the speech of the actress Meryl Streep - winning career prize Cecil B. DeMille - which bitterly criticized Donald Trump.
